Two of our learners passed first time at Morden test centre this month — one with only 2 minor faults, the other with just 3. Small numbers, but they tell you a lot about what actually works.

What a "clean" test actually looks like
Neither of these was a perfect drive — a couple of minor faults each is completely normal, and the DVSA allows up to 15 before it becomes a fail. What both tests had in common was the absence of anything serious: no missed observations at junctions, no hesitation that caused following traffic to react, and no fumbled manoeuvres. That's the actual bar an intensive course is training you to clear.
Why Morden specifically
Morden is one of the two test centres our instructors specialise in, alongside Tolworth. It has its own routes, its own quirks, and its own version of "the roundabout everyone gets nervous about." Both of these learners spent their course driving those routes repeatedly, at the times of day they'd actually be tested, rather than meeting them cold on the day.
