Two vehicle safety questions come up on every UK practical test — one "tell me" question before you drive off, and one "show me" question while you're driving. Getting one wrong is a single minor fault, not an automatic fail (unless a "show me" answer involves an unsafe action).
The short version
There are 14 possible "tell me" questions and 7 possible "show me" questions. The examiner picks one of each. You can't predict which one, so the only real strategy is knowing all of them well enough that none of them are a surprise.

How to actually learn them
Reading the list once isn't enough.
